Yes I have the red Roland SP-808 and I cant do a damn thing with it brought some floppy discs for the drive and it refuses to do anything shame because I've seen some good reviews for this machine but that drive is a nightmare.

I should imagine this keyboard having near enough the same demo songs as the drm680a, if so, this keyboard is a rebranded firstact keyboard, firstact was a company based in the US. this keyboard doesn't actually sound bad, been looking for similar keyboards like this, though I need help recreating the demos from all of the keyboards with this particular chip in it via midi

So it's a muff? You don't say. It's output is low. Very noisy. I have the pedal and it's ok. The octave has a digital feel and reduced noise when on. Do you think the octave is digital?

Want to buy this to learn, but is overall sound quality better on CT-S1 compared to this? Is the 48 vs 64 polyphony a big deal for the first couple of years on the beginners path?

Funny my mute lets no sound come through at all. Pretty sure mines defective works with the pedal on or off, "on" the mute mode mutes everything withthe leds still on and reduction works the same "off" the mute mode works like your video leds working and everything lol

Hello, I just recently picked up the Zoom Rhythm Trak RT-223! I got it mainly cuz If i ever go perform live id have drums with me. Problem is, im not really familair when it comes to this kind of equipment. Do i need to buy myself another amplifier to connect it to? Or can i just still connect it with my guitar pedals and play throuh one amp. Tips and tricks are HIGHLY appreciated 😖

Pretty much all of those patches sound dope. You could genuinely use those sounds in a variety of songs. Imagine how good they'd be with effects.

i found things to be to deep inside the menu.also its very complicated to use as a midi tool .the reason why i bought it is because it ls a mugs eyefull with the 8 sliders that do not configure automation automaticaly you have to work out the correct midi setting and then the sequencer doesnt work its not as good as the blue yammaha djx as a midi controller

I picked one up for $5. I took out the factory speaker and put in an Eminence 12” with a piezo tweeter. I use it for my acoustic guitar now. Love this amp!

I bought one about 20 years ago, it sounds analog but is not as warm and smooth compared to the 70s and 80s synths. Korg poly6 or earlier Korg synths were more fat smooth sounding. Moog stuff from the 70s, sounds have that distinct moogish sound that even the millennium moogs don’t have. The older circuits and electronic components are not inside the Korg electribes. Still I like this model it stands out from all the electribes that came after. There is this rawness bouncing juicy thing going on.

After hunting for several weeks for a new keyboard, I settled on a Go Keys 5, which is really cool and seems to have everything I need. A couple of days ago, I saw a reconditioned Casio CTK-650 in my local Goodwill for under $25. I figured it wouldn't hurt to have a second keyboard, so we plugged it in at the store to make sure it worked then decided to bring it home since it did work. Plus, I'd looked it up online to find out more about it before making the decision to buy it. This thing is a BEAST! We set it on the counter at home (since my keyboard stand was occupied by the Go Keys 5) and started up the demo. WOW! The sound filled our entire kitchen area and it was only at half volume! In comparison, the volume is significantly better than the Go Keys 5. With the Go Keys 5, the volume varies from sound to sound, which seems odd to me. The overall volume is also not as good as this 30 year old beast. I read online that this keyboard went for around $500 back in the mid-90s, which is around the same price as the flagship Go Keys 5 I just bought two weeks earlier. I thought that was pretty interesting. :)
